Ethan Thayer was born into music. He grew up on jazz, funk, and classic Rock and Roll. When he was 3 years old he began fooling around on his older brother's drum set. He latched on pretty quickly, replicating rhythms he heard.
In elementary school, he started taking lessons at You Rock! School Of Music with instructor Sean P. Rogan and quickly graduated to one on one study with professional jazz drummer Charles Kalajian. He studied with Charles for 6 years.
Meanwhile, with Sean, he joined a band that became Security Cats and has been with them since. In seventh grade, he placed first in All-State and joined the All-State Jazz band that year. He also spent two years in jazz combos at the Philharmonic Music School and got to experience a year with the Philharmonic Big Band as well.
Ethan loves all kinds of music, including, funk, swing, Latin, modern jazz, and of course classic rock. He loves playing shows with Security Cats and can't get enough music.
Adrian Cardenas is a versatile musician who joined Security Cats in 2019.

He enjoys many genres of music including Rock, Jazz and Blues.
When not playing music, he enjoys painting and reading.
Adrian has contributed to many songs and has become an integral part of Security Cats.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he aims to create music that's unlike anything currently in the New England music scene.
His sound has been inspired by artists such as Carlos Santana, and bands like the Ramones and Led Zeppelin.
Aside from music, he enjoys building and modifying musical equipment and fixing computers.
Bass & Vocals
Carter Wolf began studying the keyboard in 2013 with Sean Rogan at You Rock School of Music.
After some time, he joined Security Cats and began to sing and play keyboard. After a short while however, he realized it was the bass that he really was interested in. He began taking lessons and got a bass and an amp for Christmas.
From then on, bass became his primary instrument, while also occasionally playing guitar for other bands.
Although he’s been in multiple bands, Security Cats has always been the root of his passion in music.
